Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend...when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that's present/love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that brings us pleasure/the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth ~ Sarah Ban Breathnach
Aside from the fact that I do believe artichokes are one of those culinary delights that are indeed a little bit of heaven on earth, I also like the transformation that occurred in this mandala image, suggesting roots digging deep in the earth while receiving heaven's golden brilliance.
Some technical details: For this mandala, I experimented some more using the Mehdi Kaleidoscope Plug-In for Photoshop along with Paint the Moon's Illuminate actions that Annie was giving away a while back on Facebook.
These days I experience mandala creation more and more as a transmission. Writing about what these mandalas mean to me is not nearly as important as how you receive and experience them. This is the communication between you and me. I may bring them through, but you bring them to life.
I'd love to hear your comments/response.
