I'm honoring the crystal star and the stars inside us all with this Winter Solstice mandala. Yesterday a friend  shared this poem with me by Rahima Warren, who graciously gave me permission to reprint it here.

SOLSTICE POEM
Winter solstice is a time for
turning within
entering the luminous darkness
of the Longest Night,
opening to the Yin
resting in the Cosmic womb
source of all creation
in the gentle darkness we can see
the subtle light of our soul-stars.

Can you see your Self shining
there, a star in the silent firmament?

Now the Deepest Darkness holds a seed of Light
waiting to be born into the world,
into our lives, into our hearts.

© Rahima Warren
Blessed be to you all on this darkest night of the year. May we all find our invincible light and be willing to shine bright and be who we came here to be in the days to come.

Today I want everyone who checks in and follows Sacred Circle Mandalas to know what a pure delight it is for me to bring these mandala images through for you. It is my desire to bring you joy, peace, and harmony and my intent is that you feel uplifted and inspired when in their presence. I hope the healing energies of the sacred geometry that is imbued within each image assists you on your spiritual and healing journeys.

I continue to be excited working with this auralite crystal as part of my calling and purpose. This crystal exudes love, calms and fortifies, strengthens and magnetizes, and bonds with the person who holds the stone as  if you were a beloved friend. Please feel free to email me or message me on Facebook for more information about the crystal or for information on purchasing this mandala.

Today I want to share the channeled poetry of my friend Tracie Nichols from Alchemy of the Earth. Tracie channels Gaia, as well as the energy of auralite. This is what came through for her when I asked for her impressions of this ancient stone. And blessed be, my friends, during these times of amazing transformation and energetic shifts. We are all connected. Don't ever forget!

Song of the Ancient Ones…

I am the ancient bones of the
Earth, our Mother I am the seas
that bathed her passionate surface

I am the liquid stone blood
flowing in her body
cooling to bone

I am your foundation
and your freedom
I am the pulsing soul of this
planet made solid
The heartbeat, heartsong
made visible

Your eyes
your sweet human eyes
can only see a tiny fragment
of my spaciousness

I am life

Your life...
The life of the magnificent Gaia...
Life in all forms and vibrations

I am shards of Gaia soul
that you can hold in your hands
hold to your heart
cover with your breath

In your heart with
your heart
we sing the beauty
of this Earth
into being

Infinite Thanksgiving Mandala

Infinite Thanksgiving Mandala  (Circles of Awareness 2011) © Sue O'Kieffe 2011

I received this message recently:
This is a time of abundance for you, not just monetarily (though that too!) but abundance in friends and love. Take stock by writing a list of the things in life that make you feel good, so that you can see how abundance flows in your life. Then give thanks to the Universe and most importantly to yourself for creating and manifesting them.
This is what came up for me as I reflected on that message: Savor the time you spend with your tribe. Take care of and watch out for each other. Laugh alot. Cry some too. Share food and music and the beat of the drum. Share your dreams. Applaud your growth. Grieve together too. Touch, hold, hug each other. Help each other grow, especially the little ones. Honor community. We are, as a friend recently reminded me, hardwired to belong.

I'm not exactly sure what I found on this rock photographed Thanksgiving Day when I was out with my tribe. It may be very tiny mussels. I was attracted to the texture. Today, as I look at it and the mandala that came through from it, I am seeing a  microcosmic community growing there at the ocean and is now contained in mandala form.

My tribe and I took a hike Thanksgiving Day climbing rock out at the ocean. Everything I said above I learned that day with them.  I took this photo because the rock reminded me of a dolphin. It was a perfect morning. I am so blessed to be part of this tribe.

How about you? Who is your tribe? Where do you belong?
