SACRED LIFE SUNDAY - MYSTERY

mysteryMystery - (Meditation Cards) - © Sue O'Kieffe 2008

This is my body, this is my blood - Mark 16:22-24 (paraphrased)

...the beauty of the bird, the symbol of the snake, the courage of the pilot, and the wonder of human love will always be touched with mystery ~F. Forrester Church

Love enigmas more than certainties ~ Rob Brezsny
-----------------------

I am back from my trip and am still processing photographs (I took around 300!). Re-entry was a little bumpy and I'm still processing the emotional content of the journey as well. But ohhhh, it was so good to get away, with incredible beauty surrounding me for three days in Southern Oregon.

I am walking a line between wanting to go deep with my art and living on the surface in the material world. Mostly I think this dichotomy....one or the other.... is an illusion. Choose my time wisely.

Tick-tock.
The time is now.

This is really gorgeous, Sue. This latest body of work you have been creating has really shown growth and a deeper layer of spirit. I am always moved by your art and your words...most likely they often reflect the state I am in and discovering.
Your trip sounds really wonderful and renewing. I would love to visit that area of the country someday.
Would love to hear an expansion on your thoughts on walking the line....
Cheers!

Hi Sue,
Oh...I do love this. And I felt it was a mystery before I even read the title. The color is magnificient...and it feels so mysterious. Wow, wow, wow... thank you for this. You know I currently draw mandalas, but perhaps one day when I'm ready to add another element i.e. digital, you can recommend some resources. I'm seeng more of these and they are intriguing. But, until then I'll come by and gaze at yours. Thanks for providing the beauty.

By the way, I started The Mandala Oasis Online Community at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MandalaOasis/ - you're always welcome!

Mandala blessings to you..
