SPRUNG

We officially made it to the first day of spring on 3/20/09. The vernal equinox is 5:48 GMT.

I am still on a creative spring break, but I could not resist sharing the beauty with you that guides my creations.

These are some of my favorite shots of the season so far. I think we are officially sprung here on the North Coast of California. For those of you in the land of snow, may it melt fast with no late season storms, and may the mud and slush transform quickly to green grass.

It's definitely spring at The Havens. My daffodils are blooming and tomorrow I am going to put up portraits of the ones that are open right now.

The shot of the trillium is wonderful, I love the depth. and the last flower, what is that? the leaves look like some sort of blackberry realative, but I really like the pink flowers.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful spring photos, Sue! What wonderful inspiration for your mandalas.
Here in Massachusetts, we are so excited to be enjoying a sunny day in the 50s on this first day of spring. Finally! :-)
