RESTORATION MANDALA

restoration mandalaRestoration Mandala - (Watercolor series) - © Sue O'Kieffe 2008
source image - blue lupine
for poz

She said to me I love this blue lupine, but the rain comes breaks the stalk. I saw the beauty in the blossom and took its photo, knowing the delicate texture and gentle colors would reveal something special.blue lupine

She said to me I wonder if I've ever had faith. I reminded her of the lupine. See how the broken can be transformed? Strength and beauty always remains.

Hi Sue,
The combiniation of your beautiful work, the before, the after and Bette Midler singing...I am teary. This is too beautiful for words...I hope "thank you" will suffice :) I'm so glad we're journeying together...with all our Oasis Sisters : )

xxoo,
Cheryl

Sue, I know you took this lupine picture at my place and yes, as it was broken, so too I feel broken. And yes, I wonder whether I ever had faith that things would work out for the best, as it always seems to. Ii forget and I am being tested, indeed, to view and review my life and how I "see" it and to remember that I am never abandoned, never ever. And to remind myself that this is just another adventure in my journey, even though it is distasteful at the time. KEEP THE FAITH, I now remind myself many times a day.

Thank you all for your kind comments, but especially to my dear friend Rosalie for coming for and sharing her thoughts about the JOURNEY...
