DARKNESS AND LIGHT

birth of a star

Confront the dark parts of yourself and work to banish them with illumination and forgiveness. Your willingness to wrestle with your demons will cause your angels to sing ~ Angus Wilson

I love the simplicity and depth of this mandala. It is another image created from a photograph of mussel shells and barnacles. I like the black and white and the shine of golden yellow coming from the center and radiating outward into the cosmos.

May we all shine forth!

These barnecal shells make beautiful mandalas This is so appropriate for this particular one. Beautiful work!

argghh...not barnecal but barnacle. I hate when I post a misspelling! The dilemma is do I post something to correct it, therefore making it even more obvious, or shall I just be oblivious?

Sue, I absolutely think these last two mandalas are so striking. This one a lace quality to it. It could be used in some way for a very sophisiticated wedding invitation. I think of this because of the colors used match a wedding I attended recently.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful work.

With your intricate knowledge of mandalas, you seem to be able to create one stunning creation after another and I enjoy every one of them. I look forward going to your website every day to see what you are going to surprise us with that day, and you always do.
