MANDALAS REVISITED

Heaven's Embrace - (Healing in Circles) - © Sue O'Kieffe 2006

Come out of the circle of time and into the circle of love ~ Rumi

Andrea asked me if I had ever posted my earlier work on this blog. Most of these images were created in 2006 and were used on a calendar I had published at lulu.com for 2007. The image above was on the cover and is one of my favorites. I also use it on one of my greeting cards with the above quote by Rumi. The card sells well, and I believe this is one of my strongest images.

Here and here are links to my greeting card galleries and all of mandala images, if you want to take a peek at my full body of work.

An audience or "viewer" is necessary to create a mandala.Where there is no you, there is no mandala.

Sue-

Heaven's Embrace is definitely a favorite. I have lot's of Echeveria around my house and love this succulent.

Simply outstanding, I visited everyone of your mandalas and was trying to decide on my favorites when I realized that would be an impossible task because there would be too many to name.

Very impressive body of work and lovely greeting cards.

I liked many of your earlier creations.

Thanks for posting these links.

Have a splendid week!

These are just fantastic and the slide show plays so well with the song about the colors of the day - the collection is just enchanting and I can see why the cards sell well. They touch us with magic and grace - the images are strong and the light vivid yet transluscent. They are alive with that which is good and constant.

Very impressive collection. Regards,

John
