HOLIDAY MANDALA 3

tropical light mandalaTropical Light Mandala - (Circles of Light series) - © Sue O'Kieffe 2007

Well, I promised 12 holiday mandalas. This one is for folks in the southern hemisphere. It's so hard for me to comprehend what Christmas in summer must be like. Somehow I envision Santa in a tropical shirt and shorts, sipping umbrella drinks and hanging out on the beach. Who could possibly deliver all those gifts in the heat?

If there is anyone reading here who lives south of the equator, won't you share with us please what the holidays are like for you?

What a wonderful hot tropical mandala, especially nice to see here in this small little cold country. I have heard that it is hard to eat a lot when it is Christmas in the heat. People just sort of snack there way through the day, it seems. They don't need all those carbohydrates to stay warm.

Loooove this bright and cheery mandala. It just speaks good cheer and joy! Hope you are doing well, I've gotten behind in commenting, but will catch up soon.

Sue, these Holiday Mandalas are wonderful. For some reason I had missed the first two but I have now discovered them! Beautiful and inspiring work as always.

There is Lisa, an artist who lives in New Zealand who has been taking some lovely picture of Christmas in New Zealand in the summer, and the exotic plant which is their Christmas tree. To be found on the comments on Debi's blog.
